John Danby understands people, business and the interaction between the two. This has led him to be able to develop structured development courses that achieve results that clients desire.
I began Martial Arts Training at the age of 16, whilst serving in the Armed
Forces. Within a year I was travelling all over the UK and Europe in competition. I learnt many lessons during my time in the forces, but the one I have carried with me the longest is really the most basic; to achieve optimum performance in any area of your life, you must train, train, and when you have finished training, train some more. Here in the UK we have one of the best Armed forces in the world and it is very simple down to the training that is given to our
fighting force.
If companies today spent as much on their training as they do on their marketing then they would be in a far stronger position in the market.
In 1990 I moved to Swindon to join the Wiltshire Constabulary. During my 10 years on the streets, five of which were as a Community Police Officer, I was able to develop my communication skills. There is a well known quote that says ‘The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the quality of your communication’. We can, however replace the word ‘life’ with just about anything and the saying hold true! ‘Sales’, ‘Company’, ‘Relationship’… the list goes on.
My training in the Police Force taught me about NLP and the power of communication to obtain the desired result.

In 1999 I decided to make my hobby my profession and became a Professional Martial Arts Instructor. Within 18 months I had enrolled over 300 students onto the program; in less than 3 years I had the most successful group of satellite Martial Arts Schools in the UK reaching over 450 people in the Swindon area alone.
Teaching is about effective communication. Running a chain of Schools is about motivational speaking. Creating over 500 Black Belts is about continued training
and running a successful business is about consistency.
The skills I have developed over my career have helped me to understand both people and business and the interaction between the two.
This has led me to be able to develop structured and bespoke development courses that achieve the results our clients desire.
